Net location task
Describe how the nets are deployed and what location information your operators need to review. Provide the intended operating area as a buyer requirement, and identify the existing display or monitoring arrangement.
Buoy configuration request
Ask for the proposed buoy description, mounting arrangement and identification information. Request the power and maintenance documents for that exact proposal rather than assuming a configuration from another buoy.
Receiving arrangement
Provide the receiving equipment reference and ask for written compatibility information. Request a description of the complete proposed setup and the checks needed before it is used with your nets.
Define the buoy review boundary
When a buoy is proposed, ask which documents describe the buoy itself and which describe the receiving arrangement. Keep the identification, power and mounting questions linked to that proposal. If the intended display or deployment changes, send the revised project brief and request clarification of the proposed arrangement before choosing equipment.
Prepare a net identification schedule showing which deployment each requested buoy should represent. Ask how the proposed identification information will be documented for your receiving arrangement, and request the instructions needed by the crew reviewing the equipment. Keep a change to the net deployment distinct from a change to the buoy proposal so the receiving and mounting questions remain traceable.
