Send the terminal make, model and label photograph, along with the documents you have for it. Ask the supplier to identify the exact dock proposed for that terminal.
Installation brief
Describe the intended mounting position, power arrangement and connected equipment. Request the proposed dock's installation document and the list of supplied items so the project reviewer can assess the complete arrangement.
Compatibility review
Ask for written terminal compatibility information and the connection requirements of the proposed dock. Keep the terminal version and any required accessories with the inquiry when reviewing a sample.
Track the terminal reference
If the phone or terminal version changes, send its updated identification and ask for a new compatibility response. Keep the proposed dock identity with the terminal documents and the installation drawing. Have your reviewer assess the complete component list rather than accepting an accessory description without a corresponding proposal reference.
Identify the satellite telephone you want to use with the proposed dock and provide its exact reference in the enquiry. Ask for written confirmation of the offered dock arrangement and the associated installation instructions.
